Buzzin Disgrace

It was reported today that Brandon Davis 2 years old, has died after drinking methadone.

His two brothers, Lewis 3 years old and Kyle 3 months old, are also both being treated for digesting the drug.

Lewis is said to be seriously ill but Kyle seems to be recovering, unfortunately Brandon could not be saved.

It is still unclear how the children came to drink the green liquid which is used to wean junkies off of heroin.

A hospital worker was reported to have said “Everybody is disgusted and terribly shocked by this.  It was suggested that the parents were well known to social workers before the incident occurred.”

It is thought that the children may have mistaken the methadone for cough medicine.

A spokesman for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital told the BBC “He (Brandon) was brought in towards the end of last week.  We are still treating the other children who were brought in at the same time.  The matter is being handled by the social services.”

Two men have since been arrested.  A 30 year old man was held on suspicion of neglect and a 33 year old man was held on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug.  Both have been bailed pending enquiries.

They should never have had been in the company of children.  What were the social services actually doing, its just a tragedy waiting to happen.  Once it is known that children are living with drug addicts then they should be removed from that danger until the people involved have proved that they are clean.  These people are not fit to look after themselves the majority of the time how are they ever allowed to be bring up children, it is absolutely disgusting, it is murder and attempted murder.
