Thomas was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to a paltry seven years in prison by a judge at the Old Bailey this week, but considering the time that she has already spent in custody she is likely to be free again within 3 years.

When sentencing killer Thomas and her two thuggish friends, Judge Richard Hawkins said:

“This is a case of mindless drink fuelled violence committed in public, in front of many people, with consequences which were catastrophic for Ian Baynham and his family and friends. A precious life has been lost and no sentence I can pass will affect that.”

CCTV evidence that has previously been shown on TV showed the killers entering a lift where Thomas giggled and danced while accomplice Rachel Burke  adjusted her make up.

In mitigation the court had heard how Thomas’ father had been convicted of manslaughter himself in 2003, after stabbing a taxi driver.

Her mother said that Thomas’s childhood had been characterised by abuse and hardship at the hands of her violent and alcoholic father.

This style of attack on our streets is becoming all too familiar and it is doubtful that a short prison sentence will have any effect on these violent drunken thugs. They are after all getting away with murder and deserve to be locked away for life.

One of the problems is that they are given different quotas for each species.  But their nets that trawl our coastlines cannot determine which species of fish they will catch as they hoist them from the sea.  Hence, if they have already caught their quota of one fish, say cod, but to make the fishing trip commercially viable continue to drop their nets for other species that swim in the same waters, then they are legally forced to throw any cod over and above the quota back into the water.  But by the time the catch is sorted, the fish are dead.

As part of the Channel 4 Fish Season, top TV chefs have joined forces in the Big Fish Fight championing sustainable seafood.  Hugh Fearnley-Whittingshall’s three-part special this week has made for very disturbing and frustrating viewing.  While scientists continue to say certain fish stocks such as cod need protecting, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingshall finds a different perspective from fishermen from Scotland and the Kent coast.

The fishermen see large stocks of cod as they are catching them in their trawler only to be forced not to bring them ashore but throw them back into the sea.  Over half the fish caught in the North Sea are, Fearnley-Whittingshall has learnt, thrown back overboard, dead. The fishermen say the scientists and politicians are not up to date with their findings.  Moreover, the EU laws that have fishermen strangled by quotas are not doing anything to help fish stocks increase, only creating waste.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingshall is campaigning to stop this madness and in doing so has set up the Big Fish Fight website and a Facebook Big Fish Fight lobby which over 86,000 people have already signed.

Kristina Davies, 20, and Ricky Winter, 23 were found guilty at Canterbury Crown Court last month despite both denying eight counts of child neglect.

The boys, both under the age of 4-years, were left with fractures, bruising and bite marks to their genitals when the couple looked after them in 2009.

A paediatrician said that this was the worst case he had witnessed in 30 years when he was called as an expert witness and yet these two skum were jailed for just two years!

These little lads were also forced to stand in the corner with their hands on their heads for hours and were constantly screamed at by the two thugs.  They were made to cry on demand, sworn at and forced to kiss the feet for the amusement of the evil bast**ds.

The abusers attempted to put the injuries down to the children play-fighting or falling off their beds but this was dismissed as the cause of the catalogue of injuries.

The elder child had multiple bruising to 14 separate parts of his body, facial bruising, an ear injury, a minimum of two adult bite marks to his buttocks, an injury to his chin, back and penis.

The younger child had also suffered multiple injuries including and eye injury, an ear injury, bruising to his penis and bite marks on his buttocks as well as a fractured collarbone.

The couple had been asked to look after the boys at short notice but during the 10 days that the boys were in the care of the skum they has suffered a series of assaults.

These two little boys will probably suffer the consequences of these events for the rest of their lives, they should never have been left with these people for any amount of time, but two years, what a joke!

PC David Rathband, 42, was sat in his police car when Moat approached his vehicle, stared at him and then shot him in the face and shoulder at close range.  The wounded policeman played dead until Moat had gone before pressing the panic button on his police radio.  The brave father of two has now been told that he has lost the sight in both eyes but is determined to carry-on his work with the police force.

A 21-year-old single mother from Burnley even decided to set-up a Facebook page in tribute to the murderer after thinking it was funny that he had managed to avoid capture from the police.  The page which attracted more than 38,000 members has since been shut down but another is already up and running after being set up by another supporter.

A shrine at the site where the killer eventually died has also now been cleared by angry neighbours who agree that Moat should not be hailed a legend after his despicable actions.

The former girlfriend of Moat is now under police protection in the hospital where she is recoverying from her injuries after threats to run her out of town.

What is wrong with society today, this man was a violent thug and deserved everything he got, the only downside as far as I can see is that he did not shoot himself before he shot those three other people!

Barry Sinfield, 36, picked on the defenceless bird after drinking at least 20 cans of strong lager with a friend at the Swanswell Park in Coventry in October.  The sadistic yob grabbed the goose which was struggling to get away from him as he threw the bird into the air before battering it against the ground.  As the goose flapped its wings around in desperation to escape, Sinfield stamped on its neck.  While the bird clung to life, the evil torturer moved his foot along it’s neck before ripping its head off and chasing his friend around with his trophy and laughing.

Sinfield also pointed the head towards many of the visitors to the park where he threatened to smear them with the birds blood.

As well as the trauma it caused to the children playing in the park, a vet stated that the bird would have suffered severe pain before it eventually died.

In court Sinfield’s actions were described as one of the worst cases of deliberate cruelty ever seen and that no justification should be given whether he was drinking alcohol or not.

Sinfield was seen laughing with friends outside the court before the hearing and has shown no remorse since the incident took place.

No point in sending him to jail, send him to the front line in Afghanistan and let’s see how big a man he is then!

14-month old Holly Agius, died after she was taken to hospital in Gloucestershire after repeatedly being given the heroin substitute.  The mother, named as Bonny Richards, 27 and her partner John Davies, 31, have admitted two counts of child cruelty with both being bailed and are expected to be sentenced next month.

Earlier this month a lesbian couple were jailed for giving methadone to a crying baby.  The drug addict mother Susan Taylor, put the heroin substitute on the dummy of her 10-week old son to stop him crying.

The baby boy fortunately survived but doctors have said that it is too early to say if there will be any lasting effects after a huge quantity of the drug was discovered in the baby’s urine.

The Edinburgh mother was jailed for three years while her lesbian partner Lynn Cowan was jailed for 10 months for not telling medics that the baby had ingested methadone.

The two woman were said to be watching television when Cowan noticed that the baby wasn’t breathing, his face was grey and his lips were blue.  When an ambulance arrived the baby only let out a gasp before suffering fits on the way to the hospital where he was kept in intensive care, thankfully making a recovery over the following 36 hours.

His mother admitted to rolling his dummy around in the medicine cup used for her daily dose of methadone but it was said that she had no concept of knowing how dangerous methadone was to a young baby.

Unbelievable, should drug addicts be allowed to have children, I don’t think so!  The mothers three year sentence she was given was to follow the 26-month sentence she was currently serving for snatching the bag of a 66-year-old lady at knife-point!  What a great mother she would have been, hopefully this little boy will now get some chance of a normal life away from his scum of a mother!

Pritt Stick

A teacher with an unblemished 30 year record was today acquitted of attacking a disruptive pupil with a ‘Pritt Stick’ at Swansea Crown Court in Wales.

The 12-year-old, who was not allowed to be named, was said to have suffered from behavioural problems and described as ‘very volatile’, was having a tantrum after the paper he had been gluing had stuck to his fingers and had slammed the glue stick down onto the table.  The teacher, Lynda May, removed the glue stick and slammed it down onto the desk to show him how stupidly he was reacting but accidentally caught the boys thumb.

The boys parents took him to the hospital where they were told that the wound was superficial!

Mrs May has had to endure eight-months with this ridiculous case hanging over her and at a cost of an estimated £30,000.  The child, who was said to have told the teacher to ‘F*** Off’ and called her a ‘C***’, needs to be taught a few other lessons I think!

This case should never have gone to court, a school is there to teach children not to have to put up with the abuse and an easy way for parents to make a quick buck through compensation cases, bring back the cane and do away with the social work that is expected within the education system today.  Will the boy and parents now be prosecuted for bringing about false accusations?

Death

Collette Harris, 30, from Dartford in Kent was today sentenced 16 years in prison for the brutal murder of her 21-month-old son Bobby Louch.

Little Bobby had more than 80 injuries to his little body and head along with burns to his hand when he died just 4-days before Christmas 2008.

He had suffered fatal brain and abdomen injuries that were described as usually only seen after a car accident.  He had extensive bleeding in his skull and spine and severe damage to his internal organs after either being kicked or punched in the stomach.

The Old Bailey heard that the majority of the injuries had been received leading up to the 48 hours before this little lads death.

His evil mother denied killing or deliberately injuring her son and was said to have collapsed and screamed after the jury found her guilty of the crime.

Harris had been living with her new boyfriend James Phillips, 25, from Erith in Kent and the couple blamed each other for the child’s suffering but Phillips was found not guilty of murder, manslaughter and causing or allowing the death at the hearing.

The child’s natural father Dan Louch, had spent the time leading up to Christmas with his son but had seen no evidence of any abuse but within two-days of returning to his mothers home the child was spotted with bruising, with his mother refusing to take him to hospital in case it was believed that she had been beating him, the following day Bobby died.

Just three weeks before the toddlers death he had been treated at the Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, after suffering a fractured ankle.  Bobby was kept in for observation and a scan as he also had bruising to his forehead but the injury was considered to have been caused by accident and he was released with his leg in plaster the following day.

This woman should have been given the death penalty for what she did to this child, prison is the easy option not a punishment.  No doubt she will be released with a whole new identity and can get on with the rest of her life, what life did this little boy have apart from suffering and abuse.  RIP Little Bobby and ROT IN HELL COLLETTE HARRIS,  I hope you one day get what you deserve.

Death Penalty

A teenage thug, Ruby Thomas, 18, kicked an unconscious gay man repeatedly resulting in the 62-year-old’s death in September 2009, denies violent disorder.

Ian Baynham, from Beckenham, South-East London, was walking through Trafalgar Square with a friend when Thomas allegedly began shouting homophobic abuse at the pair.  Accompanied by two friends, the thug attacked the man after he went over to talk to her.

Mr Baynham suffered severe brain damage after being punched and kicked to the ground and died 18 days after the attack.

One witness stated that he had met up with Thomas and Rachel Burke, 18, along with other youngsters on the night of the attack and that both girls appeared to be quite drunk.  He said that the trouble started when Thomas kicked Mr Baynham quite hard in the leg and when he moved she went onto kick his friend in the groin causing Mr Baynham to grab hold of her by the hair and slap her sending her falling to the floor.

It was then that a fellow male thug of Thomas’s named as Joel Alexander, 19, punched Mr Baynham in the face, knocking him to the ground, where he began to make strange ’snoring’ noises.  Thomas then was claimed to have stamped quite hard on Mr Baynham’s stomach twice while he appeared to be unconscious.  The witness added;

“She walked around to the right side of him and kicked him in the right side of the head, twice.  She was swearing,”

The witness then said that there was quite a bit of blood coming from the victims ear, nose and mouth.

This evil thug supposedly emailed the witness the next day claiming that she couldn’t remember what had happened!

The case is continuing but after other people witnessed the attack and the outrage this crime has caused I hope she gets exactly what’s coming to her.  RIP Ian Baynham.

Many smokers have managed to quit the habit with no help at all, while many others have been able to pack up smoking through the use of nicotine gum, patches, inhalers or a combination of various aids.

In the UK cigarettes are so expensive, twice the price of some European countries, that the savings to be made by packing up smoking are enough to at least make smokers consider cutting down if not giving up all together.

One of the aids that manages to give the smoker more or less everything that they get from conventional cigarette smoking is the e cigarette and many smokers are turning to this device as an alternative.

The e cigarette or electronic cigarette resembles a normal cigarette but can come in various personal designs, more resembling a colourful pen or pencil.

The action required is the same for smokers and the nicotine is delivered via a vapouriser. The attraction to smokers is that it feels much like smoking a normal cigarette with the advantage that it has no smoke, only vapour and does not contaminate other peoples space.
