She cares for no one but herself. Why should she not receive the death penalty? I hope her fellow prisoners find out who she is and make her life like hell for the rest of her term in prison. That women should deserve the death penalty and her boyfriend and the person living with them. Their only remorse is that they are were found guilty. They deserve to rot in hell for what they did to the defenseless boy. All of the people who let down the boy: the social workers, the doctors and the child protection service should feel guilty for the rest of their lives for what they allowed to happen. I can't believe any of them would point the blame on someone else...just like the evil mother and the two men did. I truly agree with you.
